2019 Arizona Psychedelics Conference

PUBLIC RELATIONS & BRAND CONSULTING

Entheogenic Research Awareness (ERA) team were organizing their first 3-day academic conference at Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine. Their focus is on educating war veterans and naturopathic/medical students on the therapeutic effects of psychedelics and providing continuing education units to students. They aimed to sell 200 tickets and appeal to a wider audience than just their niche community to raise awareness. ERA's brand identity didn't have mass appeal. We worked with L7 Ventures to help make this event a success. L7 Ventures Principal Strategist created an event logo that was more closely associated with psychedelics, a domain that would optimize quickly, and an event name that would be easy to remember and understand what the event is about. ERA's brand name and logo were only understood within the Arizona psychedelic community. A completely new brand was created for their event to increase the odds of a successful event.
